Healthy Church Colorado is more than another church plant. It’s a movement birthed out of burden given to me by God. In a time when “church hurt” is one of the loudest conversations in culture, we believe God is calling His church back to health, back to wholeness, and back to Him.
This blueprint was not just some good idea—it was God taking my own pain and turning it into power. As a supportive pastor walking with God through life, ministry, and mental health, I carried the weight of Major Depressive Disorder, PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and ADHD. And I am not ashamed to tell my story.
For too long, pastors and leaders have been told:
“If you struggle in your mind, it must be a demon.”
“If you wrestle with depression, you don’t have enough faith.”
Those lies have left leaders bleeding in silence—afraid that honesty would cost them their calling. But I came to declare: depression is not a demon. Anxiety is not faithlessness. PTSD is not rebellion. ADHD is not disqualification.
You can be broken and still be called. You can be wounded and still be chosen. You can be healing and still be leading.
God has always chosen imperfect vessels to carry His glory. Paul lived with a thorn. Timothy battled timidity. Some of our greatest evangelists and prophets have lived with affliction in body or mind—yet still carried the fire of God.
That is why Healthy Church Colorado and the broader Healthy Church International movement exist:
To break the silence.
To shatter the stigma.
To remind leaders and believers alike: you are not what you battle.
The Church cannot be whole if her shepherds are silently dying. Healthy pastors build healthy churches. And a healthy church becomes a refuge, not a place of shame.

Healing belongs to us. Freedom belongs to us. And the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is alive in us, making us whole.
